2020 NFL Week 17 Picks!

It’s Week 17. I can’t believe we made it, honestly, this is kind of wild. But, here we are, there are 16 games on Sunday, and there are a lot of playoff what ifs on the line. So let’s get to it!

In Week 16 I went 13-3 again, bringing my win % to 65 for the season – and that ain’t bad I suppose.

This week I’m hoping for a bunch of winners to wrap up the regular season… but I’m also hoping for two very specific outcomes.

2020 NFL Week 16 Record: 13 W – 3 L
2020 NFL Season Record: 157 W – 82 L – 1 T

As a Cowboys fan, I’ve still got this ill-advised hope in my heart that the ‘Boys are going to make the playoffs. I know it’s only because the NFC East is a trash fire of a division, befitting the trash fire year that was 2020. And I know it’s still a crappy team, even if they do win the division and make the tournament. And I know they’re going to lose in the 1st round. But I still want them to win on Sunday against New York – and I want Washington to lose to Philly and I want it all to fall into place.

There have been a lot of dumb things in this NFL season. We’ve had games where a team didn’t have a legit quarterback. A game where a team had none of their top receiving corps. Players have been hurt. Weather has been weird. The fans in and out of attendance thing is awkward. But the season has been played. So far… and we’re on our way to the playoffs soon enough. And let’s just get it done so we can move on.
