5 Quick Questions with Ollie

Ollie loves tech. He loves it like a toddler because he likes to play games and watch videos and listen to music. But he also loves it because he sees us using it. He sees me doing interviews and writing. He sees his mama doing Instagram stories and marketing. All that leads to him thinking that the voice recorder app on my tablet is the “microphone game” and he wants to play it all the time and just ramble for a few seconds and then listen back to himself.

So this week at lunch time when he usually gets to watch YouTube with us, he asked to play. After he finished eating I opened the app and we started chatting and he rambled a little and then would ask to play again after listening to himself. And then I got an idea. Often, when I’m interviewing musicians for thereviewsarein.com, I do a think called 5 Quick Questions where we lob questions at artists and make them think on their feet to give us answers.

This time, I did it with Ollie.

In our quick little interview I asked him what music he likes, what his favourite book/story is, where he likes to go play, who he likes to come visit (because he hasn’t stopped talking about it lately), and his favourite thing to watch at TV time.

I had to help him get to an answer and I had to help explain a couple so hopefully they make sense to you all watching – and he surprised the heck out of me with two of his answers, so that was fun for me.

It’s a silly little thing, less than two minutes long, but it was fun and I think it’s pretty cute.
