Daddy Cooks: Tasty Taco Bowls Recipe

Are y’all ready for another recipe, ’cause here we are! This one is a dinner staple at our house, and while you can play with the name and some of the ingredients, we should all be able to agree that it’s a tasty bowl of warm goodness.

This crockpot recipe has a little more prep work than some (browning the beef) but pays off big time when topped with fresh veggies and hot sauce. If you want to call it a burrito bowl because of the rice, I’m in. If you want to call it some sort of taco chili, I can get with that too. But at our place, we call them Taco Bowls.

In my perfect world, with all of the toppings fresh and on hand, my bowl looks like this…

Scoop rice into bowl, add dashes of hot sauce and a little grated cheese, add taco bowl mix, top with diced bell peppers, diced onion, avocado, more grated cheese, sour cream and more hot sauce.

Enjoy!
