2019-20 NFL Conference Championship Picks! π
We’re down to four teams left in the 2019-20 NFL season and things are getting tense. With just two games left to get us to the Super Bowl, it’s time to enjoy the games on Sunday and see who’s going to Miami to play in the biggest game of the year.
And like we’ve done all season, it’s time to pick winners in the games.
Last weekend I got things turned around a bit with 3 wins and 1 loss. It gets me back to .500 for the playoffs with three games to go.
2019 NFL Playoffs Record: 4 W β 4 L
2019 NFL Season Record: 172 W β 83 L β 1 Tie
Now, let’s get to the games and why I’m picking the way I’m picking.
Ready? Let’s get some winners!

This weekend we’re looking at the Cinderella Tennessee Titans going into Kansas City to play the Chiefs. The Titans continue to pound the ball and control the field with Derrick Henry leading the way on the ground. They knocked off the Patriots and then the Ravens. But now it’s the Chiefs. If you watched last weekend, you saw the Chiefs offence run wild after getting down big. Seven drives in a row turned into touchdowns, 51 points ended up on the board, and they won the game.
There’s some big upset potential out there when it comes to this game. The Titans could continue to roll, Henry could get close to 200 rushing yards again, and Ryan Tannehill could do what he needs to do at quarterback. BUT, I’m going with the Chiefs because they can put up touchdowns quickly. Last weekend it took them an average of less than five plays per touchdown drive. They don’t need to have the ball long to score. I think they’ll do that on Sunday.
Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs – PICK: CHIEFS
All season the 49ers have been on the Super Bowl radar. Jimmy Garoppolo has come into his officially come into his own as a starting quarterback on a big contract. The defence is lockdown. George Kittle is a beast who catches footballs and drags defenders when they try to tackle him.
On the other side, Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers almost quietly went out and won 13 games. They earned their bye week. They took care of the Seahawks at home with some clutch play at the end of the game. And now they’ve got a chance to get back to the Super Bowl for the first time since they won in 2011.
When it’s time to pick though, I’m going with the 49ers at home. I think they’ll continue to roll. They’ll get the job done and they’ll likely be favourites in Super Bowl LIV on February 2 in Miami.
