Movember: Best Moustaches in Wrestling! 🤼‍♂️

We watch a bunch of wrestling as a family, so I started thinking about moustaches on wrestlers and Movember and then this post just kind of came from that.

Now, this post is WWE based. I do watch a little AEW, and I’ve watched matches from New Japan and Lucha Underground and Impact. But WWE is most accessible and available and prevalent and that’s what I grew up on and what I watch most, so that’s why the moustaches in this post all come from the WWE Superstar archive.

To put this post together I pulled up the Superstar page and scrolled, pulling all of the moustaches and then getting to my five favourites. There were a lot though, maybe more than I thought there would be. So I’ve got a list of 10 honourable mentions that you can enjoy before we get to the Top 5.

And while we’re here, let’s please remember that Movember does an excellent job of raising money and awareness for men’s physical and mental health. With a focus on prostate and testicular cancers + mental health and suicide prevention, it’s impossible to tell you how much I care about this organization, movement, and the results. Please continue to share Movember posts you see and donate if you can and give a Mo Bro you see a high five as they do their best to grow in a moustache of their own.

Thank you!

Now that we’ve done the honourable mentions and the reasons that Movember is important to me – it’s time to get the Top 5. These are all men that wrestled in my childhood. Guys I remember seeing on Main Event and Pay-Per-Views we rented on VHS.

Ready? Let’s Mo!

Daddy’s 5 Favourite WWE Moustaches!

Ravishing Rick Rude

If you don’t think that Ravishing Rick Rude’s moustache should be looked back at with fondness, you deserve a rude awakening.

The soup strainer on Rude was matched by his super fit body, that chip on his shoulder, smarmy, and his Hall of Fame career.

Sgt. Slaughter

Former United States Marine, the Sarge had one of the best frown/snarl looks that I can ever remember seeing anywhere in entertainment. And even though I only ever really remember him as an old dude, his moustache is just as memorable to me.

His ‘stache matches his jawline in stature. And we love it.

The Iron Sheik

Hall of Fame. World Champion. Tag Team Champion. Twitter Legend. The Iron Sheik is all of that, plus he’s got a great moustache. That lip sweater is decades and decades old and reminds us of the pre-Network days.

He may never have worn as many titles as he deserved, but The Iron Sheik will never be forgotten (for a lot of reasons) and we are happy for that!

Jake The Snake Roberts

Whether he had Damien or Lucifer with him or not, Jake The Snake Roberts always had his sweet sweet moustache.

Like a python over his upper lip, Roberts’ ‘stache is just as worthy a member of this list as any other. The class of 2014 WWE Hall of Fame is still a favourite and always will be.

Hulk Hogan

Well, I mean, what did you expect? If you got this far and realized that you hadn’t seen the Hulkster yet, you had to be ready for him.

Here he is with the handlebar moustache that we all know, that we all picture when we hear his name, and that will be part of Halloween costumes for years to come.

Hulk bragged about his 24-inch pythons, but he should have been bragging about his ‘stache too.

Who’s on your list? Who did I miss?

Leave comment telling me what you would have done differently and who has the best moustache in the history of WWF/WWE.
