As a daddy blogger and a MoBro it makes a lot of sense for me to countdown a list of great looking TV dad moustaches. So here we are.

We have a bonus at the start of this post, instead of the end. It’s none other than Ron Swanson from Parks And Rec. Ron is father to John and step-dad to Zoey and Ivy. That’s a lot of workload. And he has one of the most epic and celebrated moustaches in television.

Note: Actor Nick Offerman has been a great supporter of Movember over the years. And we appreciate him and thank him for that work and support.

Before we get to the list let’s take a quick minute to remember why we’re here. Movember is a charitable organization and fundraising movement that supports research and awareness for Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer, and Mental Health. I am proud to have been involved with Movember as a fundraiser over the last 10 years (this is year 10 for me!) and also proud to have had great teammates over the years, including my friend Sean who has helped coordinate our Movember Challenge Karaoke event which has raised more than $15,000 over its first nine years.

I grew up watching black and white reruns of The Addams Family on small TVs with rotary antennas. That makes Gomez one of my first TV dads with a moustache.

Name: Philip Banks

Show: The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air

We always think about Uncle Phil, but we also know that Mr. Banks was a dad more than anything. He was a dad to Hilary, Carlton, Ashley, and then Nicky – and he was a father to Will when he needed one.

No matter how many times they disagreed with each other, no matter how many times they fought, they were family and Phil was the dad Will needed.

I have a blindspot when it comes to Bob’s Burgers. I’ve never dug into the show, and mostly I just recognize the characters from memes. BUT, Bob has a great ‘stache and it deserves to be recognized.

And ya, it’s animated, but it’s still awesome.

Sam Elliott is a legend and as Beau Bennett he’s the grouchy ranching dad that we love. He’s rough and he’s tough, but he likes good liquor and he has a soft side.

I hope that some day I hope to have the beautiful white hair and moustache of this man.

Name: Seth Bullock

Children: Stanley, Margaret, Florence, Wiliam

Show: Deadwood

Bullock was a step-dad in the original TV run and had three children of his own when Deadwood returned to us in the 2019 HBO movie.

This is a good man with a good heart that makes mistakes and tries to do the right thing. Great ‘stache. Great man.

Note: This is also the most realistic moustache that I aspire to grow and present as a dad.

This is a distinguished honourable moustache that looks great in a uniform. As Frank Reagan, Tom Selleck gets to show off his ‘stache to the world in a way that continues his legacy from the days of Thomas Magnum.

Throw it back to TGIF with Mr. Winslow and his great mo.

Dad to three on Friday nights for nine seasons, Carl was a favourite for sure. We will always remember him as one of Friday night’s most dadly dads.
