Happiness is a Swing and a Sunny Day
Think about what makes you happy. Just a simple thing that makes you smile and giggle and enjoy the moment you’re in. For Ollie this spring and summer, the swings have given him a bunch of those moments.
We’ve had smiles and giggles. Clapping and laughing. And ya, sometimes not those things so we get out of the swing and try something else. But for the most part, the swing sets at our local parks have been big wins for us.
At home in Pickering we’re lucky to have three pretty great little parks to play in. Two of them have swings (Village East Park & Denmar Park) and even though it doesn’t have swings, Diana Princess Of Wales Park has fun equipment and is great for walking as well.
That isn’t to say that we’ll only swing at home though. We haven’t been to a lot of parks outside of the neighbourhood, but Ollie did have fun swinging beside his cousin Ellie in Port Perry at Palmer Park. And if I were to make a guess, I’d tell you that Ollie will be happy to swing at other parks in the future too.
There really isn’t much else to say about things. But I do want to share the pure happiness in his little face. Check out the posts/pics from his first swing and sunny day swings this summer.
And don’t miss the video at the end.
