The Last Christmas Before Baby
For 35 years I’ve been celebrating Christmas as a child.
It’s true. Even as an adult, I’m a kid at Christmas. I might buy presents for my partner, I might spoil my niece and nephews, but I’ve never actually been responsible for someone else’s Christmas experience like I will be next near.
With that said… the planning for Christmas 2017 has certainly involved talk about the baby.
Whether it’s my partner and I talking about how the tree will have to be decorated differently in the future so ornaments aren’t in reach of little hands, or how our plans will change when it comes to travelling from house to house to see family… the baby comes up when we’re talking about Christmas.
And I can’t speak for the mom-to-be, but I can tell you that I have been looking at adorable baby stuff and wishing I was buying all of it as presents right now.
There is so much cool stuff!!!
I have no idea how different things will actually be next year. It’s impossible to comprehend all of the changes that I’ve thought of, and I’m sure there are a million more that I haven’t thought of.
If you’ve got tips, leave a comment! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
