It’s time to get ready to kick off Week 8 in the NFL season, so it’s also time to lock in the picks!

Last week I was able to stay +6 in the win column, bringing my season to +29 wins over losses. And if I can keep this kind of pace up, I’ll have a good looking final tally.

2019 NFL Week 6 Record: 10 W – 4 L

2019 NFL Season Record: 67 W – 38 L – 1 Tie

I have no Cowboys to watch Sunday, so maybe I’ll do a little bit more channel flipping. And if I was going to adopt a team for the week, it would be the Bills, who I would love to see stomp the Eagles.

There’s a chance, pretty slim maybe, but still on the table, that both Patrick Mahomes (knee) and Drew Brees (thumb) could return to action this week. Brees is close to his timeline and the Saints have been rolling anyway – but Mahomes just dislocated his kneecap last Thursday night. I think the Saints are winners this week with either Brees or Teddy Bridgewater at QB. But I think Mahomes matters in KC’s game against the Packers, and if he’s back at more than 70% of his normal self, I think that swings things. If you’re betting, wait for more reports and info if you can!
